Dr. Swapnil Karnik - MD (Pathology)

Dr. Swapnil Karnik pursued his MBBS & MD (Pathology) from the prestigious B.J. Medical College, Pune. His primary areas of interest are Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunofluorescence & Molecular Pathology. This is the reason why he founded Megavision Labs Pvt. Ltd. with a singular vision to provide the best quality histopathology diagnostics services.

Dr. Swapnil is exceptionally passionate about his profession. He has worked at the prestigious KEM Hospital as a Consultant Gynaec Histopathologist and later as a Consultant Histopathologist. Later, he was also the Chief Histopathologist at the Inlaks Budrani Hospital, Pune. He has had a glorious decade-long run with the respected and distinguished Ruby Hall Clinic, Pune, as their Chief Histopathologist.

Dr. Swapnil co-founded another lab named Sant Dnyaneshwar Laboratory, Moshi and was a partner with PRESNOME India Center for Genomics & Personalized medicine. He is also a certified NABL internal auditor.

Dr. Swapnil Karnik, in his initial days as a histopathologist, had the opportunity to impart his expertise and knowledge to the young and bright minds studying at the decorated Norman Institute of Pathology, Christian Medical College & Hospital (CMCH), Vellore.

He has contributed to numerous papers, thus getting published in renowned and recognised journals such as the Journal of Surgical Research, The British Journal of Radiology, Journal of Cancer research and therapeutics, and the International Journal of Scientific Research.
